How It Works

We’ll have a quick call to understand the role you’re hiring for and will create a job description.
We’ll find the top 3% of candidates for the role through our rigorous process, which includes skills & communication assessments, IT assessments (do they have great internet), behavioural interviews and background checks.
We’ll then provide you with a list of the top talent and help you schedule an interview.
Once you choose the perfect candidate, you pay a one-time flat fee backed by our 6 month guarantee. We can then help you compliantly hire the candidate as either an independent contractor or employee.

A Single Finder's Fee

We charge a fully refundable $750 deposit to commence the search and then once you’ve hired the candidate, we charge 35% of the first year salary (minus the deposit). So if your hire makes $18,000 a year, we’ll charge just $6,300, including the deposit.

In comparison, outsourcing agencies will typically charge you a minimum of 3 times the cost of the hire, which means for the same $18,000 a year hire, you’d pay $36,000 in fees, versus $6,300.

What countries do the talent come from?

We hire primarily from the Philippines, Nepal, Fiji, Pakistan & India. We chose these countries as they’re on similar time zones to Australia and have large markets of talent speaking great english. Some countries are renowned for certain skills, like the Philippines for customer service and Pakistan for technical IT roles.

Can't I just hire talent myself?

Yes you absolutely can but it’s time consuming and can be a minefield. By using our recruiters we’re able to identify the best talent and include our communication & technical assessments. We also run background checks.

How do your fees compare to industry standards?

The average recruitment fee in Australia costs $5,000 to $25,000, so our fees are right at the bottom. When you factor in the savings on management fees, our clients are saving thousands.

Why not use a freelance platform?

You absolutely can but these freelancers are often working with dozens of different clients and you’re also going to be paying a management fee to the platform. It also takes a lot of time to sift through the accounts and find great talent.

Aren't you taking jobs away from Aussies?

We live in a globalised world. Some roles are better suited for those in Australia, some offshore, we like a combination of both. 

The reality is for a lot of startups they simply can’t afford Aussie salaries too initially.

Why are you claiming to be ethical?

A lot of traditional offshore companies pay their talent below market rates and have huge markups. By helping companies hire offshore talent directly, we help companies save thousands, allowing them to also pay their talent more competitively.  

Why not hire through a BPO or offshore management company?

BPO or offshore management companies typically mark up their fees 3 to 5x, without adding a huge amount of ongoing value. Instead, we think it’s better to hire talent directly, saving you thousands of dollars and allowing you to pay your talent more competitive rates, which keeps them happier and leads to better retention.

Are these employees or full time contractors? Do we need to pay super?

It’s up to you but we typically recommend working with them as independent contractors, as it keeps the relationship simpler. We can offer you a lawyer-reviewed template to ensure you’re fully compliant with Australian law.

We’re Shaun & Eliot, brothers and co-founders. We grew up at Bronte beach and live locally. We built and sold two ecommerce businesses and hired a lot of offshore talent across a number of countries. We made all the mistakes with online freelance platforms and working with management companies, but eventually worked it out and decided to turn it into a business.
